From the moment you place your order to the moment your furniture is set up in your home, our goal is to make the process simple and predictable.

1. Place Your Order

Shop Direct Furniture USA online and choose the furniture that works for your home.

After checkout, you will receive an order confirmation containing your order information.

2. We Prepare Your Furniture

We verify the order and coordinate fulfillment before scheduling delivery.

Furniture availability and preparation times vary by manufacturer, product and inventory location.

If an item requires additional time before delivery, we will provide available updates as your order progresses.

3. Delivery Is Scheduled

Once the merchandise is ready for local delivery, we contact you to coordinate an available delivery date or window.

Please make sure we have an accurate telephone number and email address.

4. Prepare Your Home

Before the delivery team arrives:

  • Clear a path from the entrance to the destination room.
  • Remove fragile or valuable items from the delivery path.
  • Measure doorways, hallways, stairways and elevators.
  • Secure pets.
  • Arrange required building access or elevator reservations.
  • Make sure an adult authorized to accept the order is present.

Our delivery team does not move existing furniture unless that service has been specifically arranged in advance.

5. We Deliver and Assemble

Your furniture is brought into the home and standard assembly required for the purchased item is completed.

Assembly generally includes normal manufacturer-required setup associated with the furniture being delivered.

It does not include electrical, plumbing, wall mounting, structural installation or modification of the furniture or home unless specifically stated otherwise.

6. We Place It in Your Room

The assembled furniture is positioned in the room and location you designate, provided the location can be accessed safely.

We recommend determining the preferred placement before the delivery team arrives.

7. Packaging Is Removed

Applicable cartons and packaging associated with the delivered furniture are removed after installation and setup.

8. Inspect Your Furniture

Please inspect the furniture at the time of delivery.

If you notice visible damage, missing pieces or another delivery-related concern, notify the delivery team immediately and make sure it is documented before the team leaves whenever possible.
